See the Fall 2010 Class Line Up

MEN’S MINISTRY

We will start a new Bible Study, Monday, September 13^th, 6:30 pm – doors open for refreshments and study begins at 7 p.m. Men’s Fraternity is designed to help men come together and strengthen others through weekly sessions that combine Biblical teaching and small group interaction. We will study parenting, money in our marriage, connecting with our wives, work relations and winning strategies at home and work.

Meeting at The Connection Church, 1235 S. Loop 4, Buda. Registration: $12 by September 5^th. For more info. contact Dale Schneberger.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR

Children’s choir will start Wednesday, September 15^th, from 7 to 8 p.m. Contact Karen Flora for more information. Sign-up today, at the Connection desk at the back of the Worship Center.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

We will be starting to work on a new routine for Creative Movement Wednesday, September 15^th in the Worship Center from 5 to 6 p.m. and then meeting thereafter each Wednesday. This is for children in 1^st through 6^th grade. For more info. please contact Erin Farmer.

MISSIONS MINISTRY LUNCHEON

The Missions Committee is sponsoring a Missions Luncheon Sunday, September 12^th, immediately following the Sunday Morning worship service. We plan to send a Team to San Mateo, Peru during Thanksgiving Week to establish an ongoing ministry there. The luncheon is to help defray some of the expenses of those going. We will be having ham and Kruez sausage. A donation would be appreciated. If you cannot attend the luncheon and would like to contribute toward this ministry you can put your gift in the offering plate or drop it by the church office. Make sure you show on your check or envelope that it is for "Missions Ministry".

NEW CHRISTIANS CLASS FOR CHILDREN

We will start a New Christians class for children that have completed third grade through completed fifth grade and have recently accepted Christ as their Savior. It will begin Sunday, July 25th at 9:30 a.m. (during the Sunday School hour) and will last approximately 5 weeks. Please contact the church office at 268-3511 if you would like to take this class so we can be sure to have enough books available.

Men's Softball League

We will have a men's slow-pitch softball league this year, playing on Thursday evenings at the HYBSA Fields on RR 2770. Please contact Ralph McClendon at rmcclendon@austin.rr.com to sign up or for more information. See game schedule here.

	HANDICAPPED AIDS We have a very good supply of items for those who may need them. If you know of anyone who could use anything we might have, let us know. Also, please return any items you may have borrowed so they can be put back into circulation for others.
CLOTHES CLOSET This is a wonderful, needed ministry of our church to our community. If you’ve not yet had opportunity to check it out, the Closet is open on Wednesday afternoons, 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.	WILLS, ETC. STILL AVAILABLE If you need a new Will or an update of other related documents, we still have this service available. Please call the church office or contact Bro. Bruce.
