What the Bible Says
About Prayer

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Matthew 26:41

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 19:19-20

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. " Mark 11:24-25

  Our Vision

"Living faithfully in our community, we will touch every heart and home

with the faith, love and hope of Jesus Christ"

Our Core Values

We value Spirit-led, relational evangelism as the primary mission of our church.

Matthew 28:19
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

We value worship as a Christ-centered celebration.

Psalm 100
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with
gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the
Lord is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His; we are
His people, the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with
thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him
and praise His name.  For the Lord is good and His love endures
forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."

We value active participation in missions in our Jerusalem (Kyle), Judea (Central

Texas), Samaria (North America) and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my
witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

We value Christ-centered ministry that is

compassionate, purposefule and personal.

Matthew 25:40
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for
one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

We value the authority of the Bible as the perfect and inspired Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."

We value discipleship that leads to maturity in Christ and prepares

believers for service through sound biblical teaching.

Ephesians 4:12-13
"To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may
be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of
God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

We value prayer that selflessly seeks God and His will.

James 5:16
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that
you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

We value the cheerful, sacrificial and consistent

giving of our time, talents and money.

2 Corinthians 9:7
"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

We value Christ-like fellowship that provides for the spiritual and

physical needs of others to promote unity in the body of Christ.

Acts 2:43-47
"Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs
were done by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything
in common.  Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he
had need.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.  They
broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added
to their number daily those who were being saved."
